My Thoughts:

Zack and Rafer's friendship shows what life, love, and true friendship means from the eyes of twelve year old boys. It also emphasizes the impact we can have in each other's lives; whether we intend to or not.

A Season of Miracles by Rusty Whitener is by far one of the best books I've read recently. Set in 1971, this book tells the story of these pre-teen boys' life-changing Little League season perfectly. The author made this story and these characters come so alive for me that as I was reading I kept almost forgetting that it was a fictional novel. I look forward to reading more from this author.
