MY THOUGHTS:
In Lioness Arising Lisa Bevere challenges women to "awaken a lioness"; to recognize our strength and power as God's daughters and to utilize that strength to follow His direction. To serve others. To stand together, like the lionesses in a Pride, to do what God calls on us to do.
Lisa adds scripture and quotes that go along with her insight and for me this one by British poet, Matthew Arnold, was pretty powerful- "If ever there comes a time when the women of the world come together purely and simply for the benefits of mankind, it will be a force such as the world has never known." WOW! And that was only at the beginning of Chapter Two!
Ladies, this book will stir you. As Christian women it will challenge you to "Wake Up And Change Your World". And not just your immediate world, it will challenge you to change Our world!
